So, you need a document notarized, ok- but have you ever asked yourself, “what exactly is a notary public and why are they important?”  Well, this blog post will give you a general overview of what a notary public is and their importance within our society.

A notary and notary public are essentially the same thing and are terms used interchangeably, with notary as the shortened form. A notary public, or notary, is an important person who can verify and witness important documents to make them legally valid.  They help prevent fraud, by confirming the identity of people signing documents.  

Its is important to note that notaries public are not responsible for reviewing the content of the paperwork being signed ordetermining the legality of it.

By using a notary public, you can ensure that your documents are reliable and legally binding.  It is important to have a notary public to protect yourself and your interests in legal matters.
